Yes I'm cynical, and no that should not be surprising... but it happens only when someone crossed the line...
I heard that cynicism is a characteristic only of intelligent person. That would flatter me, but I don't think so after all. It rather requires special state of mind, which has little to do with intelligence.
Wonder if that's a disadvantage? Sure it is irritating, when you've to talk with someone like that, but as a trait of character in general?
I guess not...
Besides it's better to be cynical and control your emotions during argue (means hard discussion), that just scream and let the anger and irritation leads you, cause if you do that, and that other person would stay cool, this means you loose...
(of course I easily let go emotions, but I guess it works both ways, easily got angry easily calms down and forget…
