Description
So here You have the results of the experiment- which was trying to get similar effect using traditional or digital media- it was rather a challenge for me to try mimic the traditional in digital world. It's based on tutorial from ImagineFX issue 102, but since it's for PS and I wanted to make two versions similar, I found myself doing many things in my own way
The one of left is older version- done last month, as signature says, only with use of watercolour (solid) paints. The scanning colour isn't right even after heavy adjustments- the coat should be actually more similar to the digital version than to what You see- more greyish and navy, and the whole should be more greyish and warmer.
The one on right is made today digital version made in Gimp 2.6 (later slightly modified in Paint Tool Sai) I must say I'm surprised how fast it took me to finish it. Of course contrary to watercolour, there was no need of waiting till it dries, but still, it was nice. I'm also surprised that I actually copied myself without looking at original (which is not entirely visible in comparison to the scanned version). I probably could do better job with textures, but... ok I could.
Ok, honestly I have no idea what category should it go to...

bardziej przychylam sie do wersji tradycyjnej, bo ogolnie wole prace tradycyjne, ale tez dlatego, ze wg. mnie lepiej wyszla :3
zwlaszcza ubranie, tlo i skora~ w digitalu jednak oczy sa wyrazniejsze, co bardziej mi sie podoba
